Voskéat in translation “Golden seed” is considered Queen of Armenia’s grapes. Both ancient native grape varieties, Voskèak and Garandmak, have been present in Armenia for millennia. Both Varieties are present throughout Armenia’s territory, but the exceptional terroir of Vayotz Dzor, with its high altitudes and elevated daytime temperatures but cool nights, yields distinctively balanced fruit in this region and highlights the full potential of these grapes. Zorik Gharibian is a businessman with Armenian roots. When he started 1999, he began to recognize the deep-rooted wine culture of his homeland. the deeply rooted wine culture of his home country, which almost disappeared during almost disappeared during Soviet rule.
