Saffron is a labor-intensive product, primarily when produced sustainably. Sari saffron is grown 100% organically and biodynamically.
Sari saffron is deep red because it consists of 100 percent stigmas – without the pale yellow pistils or other components.
The threads are dried for two days. Not in an oven, but on our well-aired dark screed. This way, crocin, picrocrocin, and the aromatic substance safranal are preserved to the maximum.
Sari saffron is saffron for the highest standards, as even top chefs confirm. Yes, the love and care that go into it play a role. But the most important thing is that it gives a lot of pleasure: to the producers and helpers, to the cooks, and to the connoisseurs.
