Ingredients
- 4 Sari Safran saffron threads
- 250 ml Water or brewed black tea
- 1 tsp Honey optional, to taste
- 1 slice Lemon optional
Instructions
- Heat the water until just below boiling, around 90 degrees C.
- Add the saffron threads to the hot water, or to a freshly brewed cup of black or green tea.
- Let steep for 8 to 10 minutes, allowing the threads to release their colour and aroma.
- Strain if using loose threads directly in water. Stir in honey or a slice of lemon to taste.
- Serve warm.
