Our premium saffron from Armenia stands for origin, care, and responsibility. Grown on our own fields in the fertile region of Sarigyugh, this saffron reflects a way of farming that goes beyond labels. While we do not hold an official organic certification, our cultivation is fully ecological, pesticide-free, and rooted in respect for nature and people.
Sari Safran saffron is harvested entirely by hand. The flowers are picked in the early morning, when the aroma is at its purest. Only the deep red stigmas are selected. No yellow parts. No fillers. After harvest, the threads are gently dried for two days in a dark, well-ventilated environment. This slow process preserves the natural compounds crocin, picrocrocin, and safranal, responsible for colour, flavour, and aroma.
The result is a saffron with an intense red colour, a warm, complex aroma, and a refined balance between floral, honeyed, and slightly spicy notes. A very small amount is enough to transform a dish, making it suitable for both professional kitchens and careful home cooking.
Beyond quality, Sari Safran stands for social responsibility. Our saffron is produced with fair wages, safe working conditions, and long-term partnerships with local workers. We believe that true quality starts in the field and with the people who cultivate it.
Perfect for risotto, paella, fish and seafood dishes, sauces, desserts, and refined everyday cooking; also exceptional as a pure saffron tea, where its intense aroma and natural colour can fully unfold.
Not certified organic, but produced with care, integrity, and respect, for people who value true quality over labels.
